Anyone else having issues with Charter Cable?

Not sure if others are also experiencing lots of issues with Charter cable & Internet service, but we are. I wanted to see if others would chime in on their experiences have been.

Charter has a Twitter team that is very responsive, but our service keeps going out every 2 or 3 days since the bad lightening storms of April 4.

    Yes mine went out briefly during the night of the storm, but not since. Your cable modem may need replacing, or another problem I experienced where I had recurring loss of service was at the terminal connector on the post outside the house had become corroded and had to be replaced. Someone eventually diagnosed the problem as outmoded hardware at the box at the street (stuff they actually no longer use) and replaced all the insides. We also received new modem and router (twice). We haven't had problems since and this was last year. The problem was with internet, we've not really had a problem with the tv.

    We also had problems with our tv cable service after the storm. After several phone calls, they finally sent someone who fixed the problem. Took persistent effort on my part though. All has been fine since.
